Description

Built right here in the mountains of North Carolina, the Pisgah Dobson is our tribute to the late 19th-century banjos that started it all. Featuring our faithfully recreated 1881 Dobson tone ring, this banjo delivers that unmistakable bell-like sustain and crisp, articulate response that made the original a legend.

This 12″ Walnut Dobson combines the depth and warmth of Appalachian walnut with the clarity and projection that players love for both solo and ensemble work.

Every detail is crafted with purpose, from the aged brass hardware and folk heel to the Persimmon fingerboard and cherry rim cap. Traditional dowel stick construction honors the past, while the modern truss rod and Gotoh tuners ensure long-lasting stability.
