Built by our friends at Pick Up the World in Northwestern Connecticut, this is a simple, elegant solution for amplifying an open back banjo without getting in the way of what matters most: the sound.

The pickup mounts to the underside of the head, directly beneath the bridge. It’s incredibly thin and lightweight, so it leaves the natural voice of the banjo untouched. What you get is a full-range, dynamic signal that translates the true character of the instrument and stays remarkably feedback-resistant, even at higher volumes.

Each pickup includes a lightweight, machined aluminum mounting bracket made by Sylvan Music for a clean, secure install.

This is a passive pickup system and requires an external preamp.
