11″ Brass Spunover Brass Rim with Dobson tone ring, beautiful Curly Maple neck in Standard Scale, fretted fingerboard in Richlite with side dots (no face dots), paddle style headstock with quilted star inlay, and folk heel. Additional features include a standard Maple bridge, traditional no-knot tailpiece, frailing S-scoop, Remo Renaissance drum head, double pointed bracket shoes, and brass hardware.
This banjo has a warm tone with plenty of volume, resonance, and sustain – perfect for Clawhammer and it is a joy to play! Installed with medium gauge, PBCO Clawhammer strings. Add one of our handmade, Armadillo Armrests, and we will be happy to install it for you!
